more newsAbout Kathy Buckert
Kathy admits she's led a colorful life, but it didn't stop her from becoming a strong, independent and fierce woman. She is a mother of four children, two step-children, and one foster child, whom she lovingly refers to as her "son from another mother". She also has thirteen grandchildren. She has been married for 42 years to a man who has loved her unconditionally.
When Kathy isn't writing, she teaches English at a local community college. She is the type of teacher who stands on desks and tells stories to engage her students.
